39 notes &

I was invited to Brooklyn Bridge Boot Camp this morning, taught by the lovely (and most ferocious boot camp instructor ever) Ariane (Bottom left, ripped arms with bigger veins than me).
Against my better judgment, I accepted the invite, woke up at 5:45 and took part.
I will be the first to admit, I was the biggest pansy out there. These ladies kicked my ass. It didn’t take long before I took it to the knee pushups, and “recovered” while everyone else did jumping jacks.
In my defense, I thought boot camp classes only last 30 minutes, and this one went for a ridiculous 60 minutes. I could have TOTALLY gone all out for 30 minutes… maybe…
Probably not.
All things considered, though, it was a hell of a workout, and it’s good to have an hour’s worth of exercise done before most people are awake.
Will I be back? No. But I urge you all to enroll.
