I don’t HAVE to run, I GET to run!
We so often take for granted what others would love to be able to do. The Bell Center is an amazing place that has been helping children with developmental delays in Birmingham for over 25 years. Many of these kids would love the opportunity to run a race one day, or spend a half hour on an elliptical at the gym. The Bell Center works to make that possible. I’m running as part of a relay team in the Mercedes Marathon this weekend to raise money for The Bell Center. I’m running in honor of Mason pictured above.
Would you be willing to make a small donation to these efforts to help kids like Mason reach their goals? You can donate to my fundraising efforts at http://www.imathlete.com/donate/Fundraiser.aspx?fFID=3676.
Everyone from Tumblr who donates between now and Sunday will be entered into a drawing for a copy of Do Life, the book by our very own Tumblr friend Ben Davis. I’ll post the winner of the book on my blog Monday morning. Thanks for considering a donation. No amount is too small.
*The raffle for the book is in addition to any other shenanigans that may go down between now and then!
My good friend Jonathan is raising money for a very good cause while he runs a relay leg of the Mercedes Marathon this weekend. Head on over to his blog to make great things happen.
